Catadel Big Red Flag – Large

This unique flag that harkens ideals of duty, honor and courage has a great place in the history of the Palmetto State and the Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Shortly after South Carolina’s secession Federal Troops at Fort Sumter would attempt to be resupplied at Fort Sumter by the steamer ‘Star of the West.’ Instead the steamer would be repelled by defiant and courageous fire from cadets of the Citadel. The flag remains a reminder of that pivotal event and the men who stood courageous in battle for the Palmetto State. Our quality representation of this historic flag is a great addition to any home.
